    History

Evergreen Rabbit Rescue is made up of key volunteers from the Redmond Rabbit Rescue Coalition (RRRC), a group comprised of Seattle-area animal welfare organizations. The RRRC formed in 1998 to rescue and relocate a feral rabbit population from impending construction on the corporate campuses of Microsoft, Allied Signal, Nintendo and Eddie Bauer in Redmond, Washington. We provided care to over 500 feral rabbits, managed the shelter that housed them and trained and coordinated the activities of over 200 volunteers. See: Bunny Rescue a Success by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer Editorial Board, April 7,1999.
